Kurt Steger: Pending

ODETTA is pleased to present a work in progress by gallery artist Kurt Steger. Following the successful year with his monumental project Scribing the Void, Kurt became ODETTA's first represented artist. As he begins to plan his second solo exhibition at ODETTA, he was invited to sketch out his new concepts in the gallery and exhale for a moment.

Pending is an ephemeral work that has the potential to become something more significant. This is a time to meet the artist and discuss these ideas and materials as he ponders efficiency, mass, and cause-and-effect relationships. ODETTA will be used as his temporary studio during Armory Arts Week.
