ODETTA is in awe of our forebears, the women in history who have fought hard for equal rights for every citizen in our country. Suzanne Benton has been a pioneer feminist artist, and has created portraits of important women in history that lead this transformation in society since 1992. This series is on-going. The portraits of the women selected for this exhibition were some of the keystone leaders of the Suffragists and Equal Rights movements.
